USB Cables

USB cables are a standard in the PC world. USB stands for Universal Serial Bus. The USB emerged in 1996 from Intel. The idea was to provide a single specification that can handle any number of devices as well as providing power through the same cable. And USB does this. It is the most popular connector in use with PCs and small consumer electronics today. You can find them in mice, keyboards, printers, PDAs, and various video game consoles.

The first protocol is the USB 1.0. This early connector protocol started the revolution. However, the vast majority of USB devices on the market today use the common USB 2.0 standard. The data rate exchange is markedly higher. There is an emerging replacement, the USB 3.0. However, unless you are running a high-end computer, you will likely need USB cables compatible with the 2.0 standard. We offer both USB 2.0 and 3.0 cables in any number of lengths.
