RG-59 Cables
RG-59 cables handle low-power signals. This is a typical coaxial cable with a characteristic impedance of 75 ohms. It is good for sending baseband video frequencies over short lengths. When you start adding length to the cable, the signal loss becomes unacceptable even with a signal amplifier. You often see these cables as connectors between electronic components. However, you will see RG 6 or fiber optic cable used when a signal needs to carry over any length of space.
We provide you with lengths of RG-59 suitable for runs from 3 feet up to 50 feet. Most of our cables come with the standard F-connector most often seen on cables coming from satellites and cable company lines. This makes them perfect for hooking components up to each other. This specification is also a good choice for bringing a satellite or cable signal from a wall socket into your component setup.
